Hi all

As you are aware summer is approaching fast, and I am sure that many of you will want to borrow gear over the holiday. I am also aware that a few of you are not coming back to Birmingham after Cornwall, so you will be able to sort that out with Helen down there (as I can't make it  ). As usual the laws of shotgun apply, so get posting if you don't want to be disappointed. Both Helen and I will be around after Cornwall, myself being around for most of summer, so get in touch with us as to when you want to collect gear.

Thanks. :D

MILF-Hunter and Helen

Hey, Will you be at the gear cupboard tomorrow?

Since I'll be Alpining as well as Jake I'll be needing

4/5 ice screws
+ any other winter things which I see down there... i.e. a bivi bag/mountain shelter?

Hey,

Can I have 4/5 ice screws and a bivi bag as well?
Also a decent set of crampons (newer the better!)?
I'll take the Deadman as well just for fun!

I can collect them tomorrow morning before we all leave to Cornwall! :) / Reserve them tomorrow to take home after Cornwall

We will be at the gear cupboard from 9am tomorrow, so you can take things from there.

Rumour has it my own personal set of doubles ended up in the Gear cupboard for some bemusing reason. I sincerely hope you haven't lent out my 50m Mamut doubles with duct tape markings on the bag & ropes to some member of the club? I've heard the rumours of what people use them for and I don't want my rope to experience such abuse! :P

The thought of them being used on these 'new fangled' 'trendy' sport routes chills my soul, or the idea that a boulderer may have taken them in confusion for a crash pad or as a pillow concerns me!

Bottom line, when are the gear secs/committee members kicking around Brum to help me check the whereabouts of my runaway pieces of TRAD gear? :P

I found them, thought they would make a nice addition to the club ropes :thumleft:. If you want them back when do you want to collect them? I'll probably be at redpoint tomorrow afternoon.
