STANAGE!!!

Its not long now until the first and arguably the best UBMC trip of the year… Stanage!!! :D

A weekend of climbing in the beautiful peak district where our lovely new members will be introduced to Meanie, Ming, table and sock wrestling and lots more fun and surprises!

Where: We’ll be staying at St Michaels Environmental Centre in Hathersage, which means the luxury of a warm bed for both nights.
On the Saturday night we will also be treating you to a delicious complimentary meal (Ming!) and large quantities of alcohol (Meanie!)

When: Friday 11th-Sunday 13th October. Meet at the Munrow at 6pm on Friday!

Price: £40 and only £30 for drivers

WHAT TO BRING

WARM CLOTHES for 3 days. It might get quite chilly!
It’ll be worth digging out any fleeces, hoodies or thermals you have lying around
Hat, gloves, scarf
Raincoat
Walking boots (or shoes you don’t mind walking to the crag in)
Pj’s
Toiletries and towel

Climbing shizzle...
Helmet and harness (if you have them, if not you can borrow)
Shoes if you have them - if you’re considering buying shoes any way it might be worth getting some before the trip (there’s a great shop upstairs at Redpoint!)
Spare shoes you wouldn’t mind lending to some one else would also be fab!

Sleeping bag
Roll mat (if you have one)

Food and beverages for the weekend (remember we have Saturday night covered!) If you ask your driver nicely you may be able to stop at a shop on the way to stock up 

Monies for extra food, drinks or anything else you might want to purchase. If the weather is rubbish we may also be forced to visit a café or indoor wall on one of the days!

Possibly also… torch, personal first aid kit, nice things for the social secs ;) excitement and a sense of adventure! :salut:

Love Emma and Lizzie xxx

Just to let any new people know that I've got a spare pair of shoes size 8 ish, so if you've got size 7-9 you can probably fit them nicely. Saves you buying a pair for the weekend :)

Hello darlings,

There is a mysterious grey/brown-ish Columbia Titanium soft shell that has been sat in my living room since Stanage... Would've thought it belonged to a fellow old git, but nobody has claimed it thus far.
