Ogwen Climbing Trip: 21st-23rd November 2008

What: An amazing climbing trip to an MAM hut in North Whales.

When: 21st-23rd November. 18:00 departure from Munrow Centre, expected return late Sunday night.

Where: Staying in Glan Dena, an awesome hut in the Conwy Valley next to Llyn Ogwen. With bunk beds, huge kitchen and a wood burning fire!

Cost: £22 (£12 for drivers). Please pay as soon as possible. Deadline for payment is Wednesday 19th November. Money can be given at Creation or the social this evening Wednesday (12th November).

Sign Up?: This afternoon (1pm Wed 12th October) at Creation -- look for Phil -- or afterwards on this thread (from 6pm).

What Do I Need To Bring?:

* Waterproofs
* Rucksack
* Climbing gear (let me know on the Friday if you need anything in particular – harness, belay plate etc.)
* Sleeping bag
* Head torch (if you have one)
* Food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner (we will stop on the way for food)
* Warm clothes

Didn't go on this trip last year but it sounded AMAZING! So think I should give it a bash this year

Just 1 problem are there going to be a load of welsh people there because I've heard they are all a bit weird.........

I won't be at creation but would like to come on this trip.

Michaf C i think you will find that welsh people are the most lovely, good looking, charasmatic people you will ever meet.

this trip is amazing people...proper rock, a great hut and the mam. plus if it is raining there is some awesome gorge scrambling around
