Hi Stoats! <3

Our next trip after Yorkshire is another one heading up north - this time to the beautiful Lake District. Taking place 4th-6th March, this is a joint meet with the Midland Association of Mountaineers at their Low House club hut. We'll be heading out to various local crags for the days and no doubt spending the evenings warming ourselves back up in a few of the pubs Coniston has to offer!

When:

Friday 4th - Sunday 6th of March.
Meet at outside the Munrow Sports Centre at 6pm on Friday 4th.

Where:

We’ll be heading to Coniston in the Lake District. The accommodation is Low House, one of the MAM's huts - so all the amenities are there (showers, kitchen etc) with the addition of a lovely warm fire if the weather turns cold, and actual bunkbeds!

How much?:

The price of this trip is £35 (£25 for drivers).

How do I sign up?:

**Sign ups will be on Thursday 25th of February at 6pm**

Sign ups will be through a google docs form which will be released on the Facebook event page.

Once you’ve signed up with your details you will need to pay in the following week to secure your place.

What to bring:

Lots of warm clothes - thermals, fleeces, down jackets, hats, gloves, buffs etc
Waterproofs (Jackets and trousers)
Comfortable shoes to walk to the crag in
Food for 2x Breakfast, 2x Lunch and Dinner (although there will be the opportunity to stop for food along the journey up)
Warm sleeping bag
Headtorch
Any climbing equipment you own - shoes, helmets, harness etc (although you can borrow a club helmet + harness if you don’t have any yet!)
