How do you get the 20% discount in Cotswold? And is it just for the Birmingham one or all of them? Cheers!

Hi Henry

To get the discount you need to be a UBMC member and show them your yellow slip from the membership forms. In theory you should be able to get the discount at any cotswolds, however I have had difficulties with some other branches.

Cool. I joined the club on the guild website, but would just showing them the email work?

There is an actual code that they type into the till to find the discount registered on their system. In the Birmingham shop, they are used to stoats turning up and asking for the discout without knowing the code, so its normally ok because they generally know the code of the top of thier heads.

It should work in other shops but I've found it helps if you quote the code because they are not normally aware the discount exists and they seem to struggle searching for it on their system.

Now, the actual code escapes me.... i think it is something along the lines of W2025 but it could be any combination of these numbers. I did used to have it saved in my old phone...

Not much help

I thought the code was U2027, but don't quote me.

I've had a few problems at home/up here in cotswolds because they can't find ubmc on the computer. I was wondering if someone on the committee could contact them and make sure we are on their system etc. Often I say its the wayfaries (God forgive me) because I think they're def. on there.

I think it's listed on their system as Wayfarers/UBMC, so a search for just UBMC doesn't actually bring us up.

I actually spoke to the powers that be at Cotswold yesterday and am about to post a topic in Notices all about it! Basically, because some of us don't have cards any more thanks to the lovely Guild online system, you will now be able to quote the code (which you can get from anyone on committee.)

Also Sam is right, the account is under Wayfarers/UBMC
