Hi guys,

Looking at gear for our scotland trip...we have have quite a shortage of Ice Axes/crampons in the gear cupboard, so could you please post if you own some ice axes or crampons - and if you have any spares that you wouldn't mind others using.

We are going to need 25 pairs for the 25 people on the trip

So far we have:
- 13 crampons I know of
- 14 pairs of Ice axes

We are looking at hiring some equipment out, but it would be best if we could find as many as possible amongst oursleves!

We are also going to be sharpening up the crampons we have in the cupboard this tuesday at 4pm. So please let me know if you have a metal file and happy to help out :-)

Rosie and I have our own crampons and axes, but we don't have any to lend out I'm afraid.

We do have a couple of rucksacks which people may want to borrow though.

I'm actually in dire need of a proper rucksack for Scotland, as my dear brother decided to knick mine with little hope of returning it any time soon. So I'll gladly take you up on that offer if that's ok 8)

Also, I'm counting on the ubmc gear cupboard for axes and crampons I'm afraid.

mark, as per phone call i'm self sufficient, but have a (small) stash of gear at my disposal to lend out. rucksack, axes, crampons, maps, gloves, jackets etc etc if anyone would like to borrow i'd need to know who, and before the 14th Dec.

At the moment we are fine for axes and crampons with the numbers coming, but there is space for one more on the trip, if someone else fills that space i'll be in touch by the 14th - but i would only suggest lending your gear to someone who has been before and would know how to take good care of it! (would that be a pair of ice axes you might be able to lend to someone?)

Thanks for the offer Tom.
