Hi all

I was reading UKClimbing a few weeks ago and they said that Stannage was going to be closed/restricted for all weekend afternoon climbing.

I dont know if this changes anything for stanage but thought you all light want to know.

I think that was done to draw attention to the fact that the BMC do a fab job and have no money, thus the article was posted as "shock tactics".

I dont think its actually true.

I think whoever wrote the article is (or should be!) hated by many for the confusion it has caused...

Im not sure whether we are coming to stanage this year but might make it to one of the lowe house trips depending on work.

after consulting my long and complex shit pattern I an working on stanage friday/saturday night. As it is still a long tim away I may decide to come up for sat nightand sunday.

As simon said, the MAM/UBMC joint meets are possible.
