Issues

2 year old laptop is out of warranty
battery life has reduced to around an hour
there are a few scratchs around the case
the earphone port is damaged and only works slightly
new legal edition of windows XP PRO has been installed using free msdn software for students ( i will install windows vista business edition if asked but havent tested it on the laptop)
no orginal packaging or paperwork

So not actually legal then... or rather only legal if you sell it to someone else who qualifies for MSDN software (which most students don't). Not that I'm complaining, I've never paid for windows (and get msdn anyway), just that the term 'fully legal' is kinda a lie....

hmm tbh i dont know exactly how its works, but i dont think it makes sence, cos not allowing a laptop to be resold without being formated wud be a bit extreme.. ive sent an email to MSDN asking tho.

As far as I'm aware the license is only legal while it's being used for what it's licensed for... it doesn't mean you can (legally) go round installing it on other systems, or selling it on.

I don't actually give a f**k, nor does anyone who doesn't have the James Cross Beating Stick (tm) shoved so far up their arse that it can't be used for beating James, just pointing it out...
