The whole club would like to thank you all for your time and effort and we greatly appreciate how easy you make club trips run.
However, (did you expect anything less from me...) a few bits and pieces have cropped up that we would be grateful if you could have a read of and hopefully take notice of.

Petrol - Please ensure you request a VAT receipt when filling your car up with petrol after the trip. If you do not get one of these we are unable to claim back the VAT on petrol and loose money in the long run. A few drivers recently have been giving me VAT-less receipts.

The club is only able to reimburse you for the fuel you have used on the trip (out of pocket expenses), if you claim back more than you used you fall into the "for hire or reward" category. Which, if you read your insurance policy, invalidates your insurance cover, as your require business insurance to cover you in this situation. This is being pointed out to a small number of people, so that in the case of an unforeseen event you are aware of where you stand.
