Sup guys, if you're planning on joining us in Scotland here's a list of stuff you should bring:
Boots (need to be B2 or B3 rated) **These are essential but expensive, try to grab a second hand pair or borrow them off someone in the club**Warm Socks Thermal bottoms (check in Aldi, often have cracking deals this time of year)
Thermal tops
Trousers that you can walk/go climbing in
Gaiters (optional but keeps the snow out your socks, and will probably save your trousers from tearing on crampons!)
Fleeces (mix of thick and thin+one for your bag as a spare)
Warm hat/balaclava/buff (needs to fit under a helmet)
Gloves (one thick waterproof pair and one thin pair to go underneath) BRING SPARES!
Waterproof jacket and trousers (maybe some old/cheap ones too for while you're getting used to crampons!)
Rucksack for climbing in (35l-50l)Down/synthetic jacket (optional but warm, preferably comes with large melted hole in the back)
Head torch and spare batteries
Goggles
CompassThermos flask
Water bottles
Orange Survival bagRoll top dry bag(s) (optional but keeps stuff in your bag dry)
Harness, Belay plate/crab and helmet (can borrow from club)
Personal first aid kitNormal clothes
