If your boots are B rated i.e. B1/2/3 they will almost definitely fit most of the crampons but, at least in my opinion, it isnt really ideal at all as there will be plenty of other things to sort then

What type and size are they (there might be someone with a similar boot we can fit)?

Really you should get all your stuff ready the night before, it means you can get an earlier start, and you're less likely to forget stuff. Being organised, although boring, really does pay off.

It also means your bag doesn't "accidently" get left outside all night.

Exactly my point! It's Best to do things in advance as there are some things you can't plan for as no doubt some fücker is bound to throw a spanner in the works at some point :D

They're size 9 Salomons, rated B2 (not sure of the model). I used them last year so I know they'll fit. I agree with Jake and Tom - doing it on the day isn't the best day - so how about the day before? Any chance I could meet you at the cupboard before the traditional curry (assuming it's happening!) so we could fit it then?

Sorry about the hassle!

I approve :D Although starting now would mean having a bush by the end of the month. Might leave it a couple of weeks :P

For those who shotgunned any of my stuff, I'll be in Wolvo/Brum on the 10th & 11th. If anybody wants to meet up to try on stuff & take it off my hands in advance of the trip. Please let me know. 11th is better as I can book a late train back to london, and sort out stuff in brum in the moring.

Or if anybody just wan't to meet up for a chat, drinks & banter. let me know. :)
