Epic fail on last year's ambitions, however maybe I should be able to grasp these.... 1 Quarter Targets:

Do some E1's on grit (lead)
Boulder 'comfortably' at V4
Run 8 miles in under 60 min
Lead indoors at 6c
Improve technique (as always!)
Get back down to 10.5 stone [11st 10lb atm :( ]

Find a regular climbing partner to help push my grade on the weekends that there are no club trips.

'not just belaying!' ouch james, that hurt!

Aims.. hmm.. get better!!?
Comfortably boulder at least V3/V4
Do some outdoor bouldering!! (without injury!)
Maybe work on confidence leading - so get some VS's done
Flash an E grade (seconding :P)
Do 15 pull ups straight
Do a 1 armed pull up
Reach top of campus board missing out every other rung - with both hands jumping it!
Don't twist any joint
Have some form of climbing knowledge
Have some form of general knowledge

Hehe,
Sorry for my poor grammar, it was meant to imply that I'd belay as well, not just them belaying me all the time as I attempt routes. :? - I just removed it to save confusion.

I did it for you Jack, it would be green but you're so stubborn you probably will do it!

Hmm aims
Complete degree!
Get back to and stay consistant at 6c and push for 7a/b
Spend more time in redpoint than snobs
Use the moon board twice a week
Get SPA

Sort my trad out, push out of my Hs 4a comfort zone and never rest on gear again!
Get gareth to finish off his finger board
Be the best girl in the club.

Time to be done by, end of Feb

Didn't do one of these last year as I had less ambition, now has taken a turn as I'm gonna have less ability but lets see
First and most importantly- get back to the stage when I can actually shag (considering not walking atm)
Try not to rush myself in but
Boulder at least a couple of hours a week
Get back to comfortably top roping 6a/b
Lead comfortably 5+/6a
Be able to lead 6a coutdoors by the end of 2010/by summer
As I have only ever done one trad lead (due to fear and weather)- DO SOME TRAD!
Be less vocal when climbing

Classic Last aim there Rachel.

For me:
shag more Winter routes than i did in 2006
More Sport and Alpine Routes than in 2007
More Trad Routes than in 2008
And More Boulder problems than in 2009
And also to shag Harder in each of those disciplines than i did in each of those years.

shag faster.

Might be able to help you out with the first one mister, you should jump on High Speed Imp-act at churnet, it's a 7a+ but mega morpho/lock strengthy (hence why it bumraped me for a while) and a lot less scary if you don't have to let rip on the last move like shortarses like me, on top of that it's a pretty sweet shag, and churnet valley looks like the first lord of the rings, and has an amazing tea shop, and is close!

No excuse not to :O

On a related note:

2 proper face on 1 armers on each arm in the same sitting (right, left, right, left without feet touching the floor) would be nice
Boulder 7c work on making 7a more comfortable/flash a few
have more days as successful as the one at Robin Hood's Stride
Get bendy enough to do the splits
Get my weight to as close to 10.7 as possible+ get smaller
Improve my solo/high boulder grade, which will mean E1:s
Get out to genuine awesome (overhanging) bouldering locations more, hit up Whales and especially parisellas lots

Spend as much time possible climbing in europe as possible!

Finally if I can get my general knowledge of everything and everywhere climbey anywhere near as comprehensive as Stokesy I'll be well chuffed.

I am not knowledged in colours...

my main aim is not to be a total and utter little girl when i lead - i want to lead a 6a+ by the end of the year.
i also want to man up with my trad, and be able to to 10 pull ups (not whilst doing trad)

--Would getting up v5s / v6s first time by the end of the year be too much of a challenge? Need to get ready to wow those french maniacs down in bordeaux :thumleft:

--Similar to Heavy leading will have a higher priority in my books this year, we'll have a joint goal of 6a+ dearest.

--Bring on the fifth and sixth rung of the campus board too!!

--Also make team skatjeanes' last few socials the BEST EVER!!

-Get up the moon wall at creation
-Be able to do a meaningful amount of pull-ups on a regular basis
-Find a soft, non-slabby, Font 6a with actual holds and get up the bloody thing
-Keep avoiding using ropes like the plague (though I'm not sure why :s)
-On second thoughts, maybe actually learn to belay and all that other jazz
