(I live near Gloucester when at my parents house) any advice as to where the nearest places to shag would be?

There's some good climbing in the Wye valley (Symonds Yat, and lots of places around Tintern), on the England/Whales border that shouldn't be too far from you. Some long single pitch stuff (30odd metres) on crags which just rise out of the woods.

Thanks Huw, that is quite close to where my parents live.
In that case pretty please could I borrow a rack and the Wye Valley CC Guidebook lovely gear secs!?

Many thanks :D x

Me and Tessa are going down to the gear cupboard to sort out the guildboooks tomorrow so hopefully we should be able to give you a full book list of what we have by tomorrow night.

Also we will be posting times shortly of when we will be in the gear cupboard next week for people to come and get the gear they want, should be about 3 different times so people can get their gear when they are free, any problems let either of us know.

Good work.

Spelling mistake: "1x Gomer and South Wales- south Whales mountaineering club"

Gomer should be Gower.

GEAR WILL BE GIVEN OUT ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS, starting tomorrow at 5pm, its the only fair way we can think of doing it, but we should have enough gear for everyone who wants it.
