sorry if this reply comes wayyy too late Fergus. But in the future if you have trouble getting a lift etc then try taking the number 50 bus from the city centre. I lived at QHC in my first year and found that to be the best option if I couldn't grab someone with a car or a group going by taxi

We've also got an amazing social tomorrow night if you're interested fergus! We're doing a bar crawl in Harborne and we will be meeting at 7pm at either the Goose in Selly Oak or Shackleton on the vale (depending where u live!! Really hope you can make it - wicked way of meeting people in the club!!

Thanks guys, I would love to come on wednesday to redpoint but i'm a music student so have orchestra on wednesday afternoons. Also i'm sorry i can't make tonight as i have a brass band rehearsal till 9:30 then going for a curry but i'll try and get there next monday or if someone could meet me before hand anywhere that would be great.
