Hello there everyone! And welcome back! :mrgreen:

The new term has begun and we'll be kicking off UBMC's busy social calender with the first not to be missed social of the year. I hope you're all as excited as we are!!

So...what is it? A chance to meet all the lovely new members of the club, catch up with your friends, socialise and play some games! If you're new to the club this is a fantastic opportunity to meet all the existing members of the club and get a chance to see what UBMC is all about!

Where? The Gunbarrells in Selly Oak

When? 8pm on Wednesday the 5th October

What? So in true UBMC style we'll be heading to gunnies in fancy dress, and this year the theme is PREHISTORIC. So whip out that leapord print I know you've got lurking in the cupboard, and come dressed as a caveman, dinosaur, wooly mammoth or whatever takes your fancy! There will be a free drink for the best dressed, so we expect to see some AMAZING outfits! :king:

Is anyone willing to let me stay at their house for the night? Bearing in mind that i'll probably be shit-faced :puker: . Also i'd prefer to stay somewhere close to Uni so I can stumble in at 9 on Thursday.

Good effort everyone on the fancy dress (except those that didn't..... but glad you came anyway :D ) Of special note were the rocks, Yarrow's sabre-tooth leopard, faith's furry animal and the full on dinosaur spike costume!!
Great to get to know you new members better, and hope your hangovers weren't too bad! I for one was still drunk at 11am....

See some of you this weekend for more social fun (and some climbing!)
and the next social is in TWO WEEKS time and will be a pub crawl in Harbourne (The Harbourne Run... details to be announced later)
