I hope I'm still on the list...

I have a deposit in the form of a cheque.... is Wednesday a good time to hand it over?
I will probably be at Creation on Monday [providing i can convince people to go] if anybody will be there?

Will check back later at a more suitable hour... lol ... The trip looks awesome!

I shall be bringing my own Helmet & Harness.

Just another addition, spare stuff:
I have a Men's Medium North Face Wind-stopper should anybody want to borrow it.
I also have a Medium Regatta Soft Shell, not wind proof [a bit worn, but it should do the job].

I know its not much, but they are there should anybody need one.

KIT LIST

• B2 or higher boots – stiff soled mountaineering boots that can take crampons
• Thick socks appropriate to boots
• Warm gloves, preferably 2 pairs (a thin pair that fits inside a thick pair) Ties to attach to the wrist can be useful.
• Warm clothes for climbing- ideally a layering system not including cotton.
• Separate warm clothes to wear back at the hut
• Decent waterproof jacket, ideally with hood that fits over helmet
• Warm hat and/or balaclava
• Waterproof trousers.
• Rucksack, at least 35L, preferably 40+L. Ideally with ice axe loops
• Headtorch and spare batteries
• Sun glasses or snow goggles (UV proof)
• Sleeping bag
• Water bottle
• Harness and belay plate
• Compass
• Orange Survival Bag
• Moisture wicking base layer e.g. Helly Hansen / Icebreaker
• Thin-Fleece e.g. UBMC fleece
• Thicker fleece
• Gaiters, to stop snow getting into boots

If you have salopettes or insulation jackets then definatly bring them along. But don't worry if you don't as a layering system works just as well
Bring rock boots as an indoor wall is a possibility.

absolutely ace week. could not ask for better weather. excellent snow and ice conditions though a little thin in parts and on the buttresses. great climbing and company. just a shame about the minibus problems. hope you all not too spent and thanks for all your help and patience with sorting gear and the hut today!
