Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to announce the next trip for you lucky people! We are going to SKIPTON!

For anyone who hasn't been before, it is one of the best trips of the year! Skipton is fantastically placed, being close to loads of superb gritstone and limestone crags. It also features a pretty banging nightlife, which Hallie has kindly agreed to give us a tour of on the saturday night!

What?: Two days climbing on the beautiful yorkshire crags, and one hell of a saturday night at STRATA, Skiptons finest club!
Where?: Skipton in beautiful Yorkshire
When?: 19-21 November, leaving on friday 6pm and returning sunday evening
How Much?: £25, £15 for drivers. This includes entry to strata! If you do not want to go to strata then let me know and I will reduce the price.
What will you need?: Climbing Gear, Sleeping bag, warm/waterproof clothing, and PSYCHE for the saturday night!

DOES ANYONE WANT TO GO TO MALHAM COVE? PROBABLY THE BEST SPORT CRAG IN BRITAIN.... IT'S IN THE SKIPTON AREA.

it is indeed a great spot v. near skipton. quite sheltered and climbable on those rainy days.

Sod my rainy beach cafe where there is no climbing and lots of weird old ladies that smell like wee

Classic moments of the last 3 years I have been to Skipton and Strata:
-Simon teddy bear rolling on the dance floor
-Jack nearly getting beaten up by a northern bird because he was asking directions to the fire station
-Simon throwing up in front of a policeman
-Being a woman for a night!
-Tammy long arming a stolen bottle of champagne
-Jay and me abusing Laurence when he was asleep
-A fresher last year doing the three pint challenge faster than any of the other freshers despite going to the bar to buy each pint separately!

This is such a fun trip, its not just the nights out but the crags are amazing to.
If you are feeling brave head to Almscliff where the routes are awesome, if its not too windy Attermire is a really cool place.

crookrise and rhylstone are deffos worth a look in. also coz i live there i mite be able to borrow the mommas car for the sat if anyone fancies somewhere different? leaving sunday morning tho!! and mikes right, attamire and almscliffe are ace but a fair walk if memory serves...
