Me and Tess want to go skiing! How about you?

This is just an idea at the moment but we were thinking about going in the christmas hols, keeping it fairly cheap, maybe a chalet..

So i'm gauging interest: post here or let me know if you want in! :thumleft:

I would love this!! But yeah money and time are massive factors!!! Last year we went for a long weekend, which worked out well and not too expensive, so three/four full days of skiing. Where were you thinking?

Cheaper..... you get to be with amazing UBMC people..... and I hear the skiing is world class at Cairngorm Mountain.... :thumleft:

ME SO EXCITED. Louise you hero for putting this up here so quickly. Xmas time def, better uni-wise, better snow, colder (YES this is a good thing!), and generally christmassy yayyy. maybe first week of holidays, thus not clashing with scotland trip WHICH I WANNA DO TOOO. cheap cheap cheap also important.

oooh is there actually a possibility of doing some skiing on the scotland trip??
Cos i wannt do both, but atm am swaying towards scotland as it's cheaper...

indeed, skiing has been done before! the last 2-3 seasons at aviemore and glencoe have been ace! it cost about £50-60/day for pass, and hire of boots skis etc.

Don't suppose there'd be room in the minibuses for me to bring my own skis n boots....?

I've totaly booked to go to Val Thorens Jan 28th. Then again 2 ski trips in one season sounds good!
