Last 2 weeks to get the elusive font7c. Spending 3days in Llandudno next week.

To be fair, I'm happy with this year. A couple of classics in the cave would top off the year, whatever the grade!

If you see a girl in that cave called Heather tell her me and Neil said hi!

Well, I succeeded and I failed.

I bought a 3 month pass and climbed until my fingers hurt for 2 months then had to do uni work so it seems that was all in vain.

I did boulder 7a and 6c and did shag Cemetry Gates.

Gareth is still better than me.

Living in London now and have started climbing inside again a few weeks ago, so that was my year.

Well done everyone who is climbing well and I hope y'all have a Merry Christmas. Here's a challenge for you, see if you can weigh 14 stone by the end of the holidays and see if you're still climbing so well...

Well i managed a 7a in font so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Didn't manage anything else Though and if anything i'm becoming more "festive" so not too far off the 14 stone challenge. Being heavy is manly.

There are 6 day's left still so i'm still pretty hopeful...

If you can do a font 7a the chances are you could do one anywhere which isn't notoriously sandbagged; font is haaarrd.

Treat it as 'training weight'?

Just got my 30 pull ups with 3 days to go - bloody chuffed as hell! :D :D :D :D

Tactics were the key to the 7a i did, it was a massive traverse round this boulder, but with a few hands off rests which i used to the max, probably spent twice as much time resting on the route than actually climbing it! haven't managed to find a 7a i can "cheat" my way up or round since!

Being heavy is good for training, it's like i'm wear a weight vest all the time!!

Good work on the pull ups!
