I was wondering how i could get into climbing through the club.

Only been on a few climbing walls a couple of years ago, not really done much. spent most of my time walking, running and skiing in the mountains etc.
I really just want to start climbing.

Unfortunately i have a commitment this wednesday but i was wondering if i could join you the following week (18th Feb).

i obviously don't have any rockshoes so what do you suggest would be best to wear?

Join us whenever is conveinient to you. If you put up a post say next weekend as a reminder we can sort some transport out.
As far as footwear goes, anything goes really. You can alternatively hire a pair of rock shoes from creation at the fee or £1 or £2 i think. The club will have everything else you need.
