why wasn´t anyone at the wall today?! could you post it in the forum if you go to redpoint instead...? and maybe also if you want to share taxis or if you can give someone a lift...? i´m kinda lost because i never know how to get to creation, people don´t reply to my texts, and nobody is meeting outside the guild anymore....i made it today though, by bus, and - nobody was there!...??

I was there too. I understand your feeling about everyone going to different places. Let hope a plan gets sorted soon.

As for lifts to creation... most people walk or cycle. I always used to walk when i lived on the vale.

Elia I did say a while ago I'd walk down with you if you texted/facebooked me when you want to go. I can't at the moment though I got Tonsilitis :(

Redpoint is also a lot easier tog et to than creation from the vale by public transport. Get the bus from outside Tennis Courts into town 45? Then walk to the end of corporation street, follow the main road left all the way to Redpoint.

The Number 1 from the top of Maple Bank drops you at Creation's front door in less than 10 mins.

Elia if u live on the Vale then drop me a text, there's usually a squad of us leave from Shack every Wednesday in a taxi or on aforementioned bus.

And the whole Wednesday Creation/Redpoint dilema is on the agenda for Tuesdays meeting, it needs sorting. x

generally speaking people go to creation and you can expect us there. it is up to you now to arrange getting there and back we cannot guarantee times and a place that we are leaving from (some times i don’t know till i'm there!)
it is only occasionally people go to red point and its arranged independently of the club to avoid such confusion. if you want to go to red point then go!

I thought the number 1 terminated at the bottom of Broad Street, that is useful information.

sorry MILF-Hunter, i forgot!!! next time!! i´m not walking today though, the weather is rubbish :)
true, the bus leaves pretty close to the vale, on church road I think...but I don´t wanna go alone, it´s simply not fun, and the chances that I find a belay-partner are getting lower and lower every week, since not many people are at creation between 2 and 5, fact. And what I mean is just that people who have a car snd spaces left could post this on the forum, say wednesday morning, and people who think about going can check the forum at around noon, and get a ride, and eveybody is happy and gets to shag with people from the club, that´s what I thought is the point of joining a club

I think it's more that most people, particularly the older (and car owning) ones have got a hell of a lot of work going on at the moment and not got time to go climbing, which is why no-ones going.

We all love climbing, but peoples degrees kinda have to come first...

Also, a lot of drivers are people with jobs/medics/etc who can't go until the evening anyway.
