Right.

I'm going to Chamonix this Summer. That much is certain.

I'll be leaving near the beginning of July (or just before) and coming back at the end of July (or just after, or maybe much later, I haven't decided yet).

I'd like to drive, as then I'll have a car there to get out of the valley if the wether's crap, and there's a chance I may go to the Ecrins with Alice for a little while anyway.

Unfortunately, cars cost alot and so I'm looking for two plucky stoats who'd need a lift to Chamonix and could help with the costs. I'd also need 3 people to ride in the car for the journey back, too.

Return costs are (roughly) : Fuel : £250
Peages : £110
Ferry : £50
Total : £410
Total per person : £102

Seeing as your average plane ticket costs about £80-£100 with transfers and all, the costs work out pretty reasonable and you get to take more gear with you., and I think those costs might be a slight overestmiate too.

Anyone?
