Depending on how many people will be in the minibus I don't mind a quick detour, we pretty much drive past Edinburgh anyway.

thats cool, I didn't know if you were going up the M1 or M6 or whatever remember going through Glasgow last year...but maybe that wasn't intentional...

Would of thought we can cut across to Edinburgh, hardly going to make a difference on such a long journey.

After much thought and realising I'm being stupid I'll actually be home over Christmas (Norfolk) ... and will therefore get the train to Brum then go with you guys if that's ok. More time on the bus = so much fun!
