Those that have not yet paid us, please bring your money either to Redpoint tomorrow, or meet Louise outside the guild at 1, or the clocktower at 11.55 :thumleft:
Those still to pay will be named and shamed on here later

For those of you that are starting to feel the winter chill, never fear…UBMC have in store for you exactly what the doctor ordered. Prepare yourselves for an evening of festive fun, featuring three courses of delicious food and an abundance of alcohol. If that doesn’t help you beat those wintry blues I don’t know what will! :rendeer:

So what’s the happening?

When: Wednesday 7th December: get there for 7:30 for a glass of bubbly, with sitting down to dinner at 8
Where: The Proverbial, Harborne :jocolor:
What: Delicious 3 Course Christmas dinner! :king:
Price: All of this can be yours for just £15. This is going to include a champagne reception and a ton of wine on the tables. Do I hear good value for money??

For those of you that haven’t been before, this is a fantastic social, and a chance to get dressed up fancy!
So we want to see girls in pretty dresses, and boys in suits (and even smart shoes *cough* Harry Thorpe *cough*)
The thing to attend to now is the menu. We need to hear what you want to eat ASAP. So could you please put whether you’re attending and what you’re planning on munching on below. There is a limit on spaces guys, so get in there quick!!
Big festive love

May I take this opportunity to revive a beautiful poem of a few years ago, slightly adapted for the new generation. For those of you who are too young, the Proverbial used to be called Varsity :D

p.s. my choices are already with louise

The crazy cats of UBMC,
Once had their Christmas Dinner at Varsity.
7th of December was the date
The meal at 8.30 and no one was late.
They dressed up beautifully with their best clothes and more,
Suits, dresses... you know the score.
The smell from the kitchen was terribly good
Turkey, stuffing and Christmas pud.
The Stoats all laughed, finding everything funny
With wine on the tables to excite their tummies
Party poppers, hats and crackers galore,
Christmas excitement made the louder ones roar
But then Varsity could satisfy their needs no more
Their plates were empty and their eyes on the door...
Wait a mo! Snobs did someone say?
And they jumped in taxis and went off on their way.
Who knows what happened for the rest of the night,
Perhaps MILF-Hunter found a MILF, or Smithy's mo gave someone a fright.
All I know is they had a wonderful time
For £15 a ticket, CAN YOU HEAR THOSE BELLS CHIME??!
