Hi guys! I hope everyone is looking forward to tomorrow, Just so people know the plan-we will be leaving tomorrow morning at around at 8.45am from TESCO EXPRESS and will be coming back to brum after the morning for a quick turn around and to get into nice clothes for the annual dinner, space is going to be tight so pack warm but compact stuff, and there is an asda close-by for food once we are in the Lakes. This it it guys!!

The British University Bouldering Comp is a 4 round competition in which each uni's top three scores will be taken.
Each round will consist of 25 seperate problems. You will get 10 points for doing a route the first time, 7 the 2nd time and 2 the 3rd. There will also be bonus holds on each of the routes which you will get 1 point for if you reach the hold but then fail to reach the end. As uni sport goes this is very laid back and will be a fun day of competion as well as a chance to pit your self against other uni's.

I need 2 teams of 3. It will cost each of these people 20 quid to enter.

The first round is in bristol on the 29th of novemeber.

The high sports in redhill on the 13th of december

round 3 is tbc

round 4 is at vertical limit in Worcestershire on a date that is tbc

I would love to get a team of 6 (im pretty sure two have to be girls) that can make all the events.

Then me and 2 drivers at also allowed to enter for a fiver at each.
If your interested then let me know and if we are over subscribed i will pick a team.

Ps i would be more than happy to sort out some sort of team hoodie or t shirt for the team but that will obviously cost more

is the £20 for all three events?

Yep. Not 100% if you will then also have to pay to enter the centre on the day. I think it will depend on the centre. There should be 4 rounds aswell

is this separate to BUSA?

Yep, this is your new scubil. Busa is now bucs aswell. That will be some tiem next term. The club is paying abit towards the fee for the comp aswell

Good luck everyone on this!! So it's now a national comp, sounds good! Entering competitions is a great laugh, and it's a good way to really get into developing your technique. It's good to see some names I don't know on the list - good luck!

I really wana do this, but i have commitments in bristol around 7ish. What kinda time do comps normally finish? x
