Alternative suggestion, buy cheap gaiters that you can ruin keeping your trousers in better condition.

Sadly gaiters make you deeply uncool.

And nothing adds excitment like tripping over your trousers at the start of a descent...

Decathlon really is a good scout! it's so cheap and good quality!

£5 fleece? don't mind if I do!

Might do a trip up there after climbing one day if anyone wants a lift.

Went to decathlon today and can confirm that those trousers are a definate bargain and their ski wear collection is pretty big and resonably priced, well worth a look if your after some wintery gear!

Look on 'web togs' online. They have some good deals.

Also don't forget for americans its "Black Friday" - i.e. big discounts on everything for a day. Fortunately for us, this friday fever has spread to the UK so scout out deals for tomorrow as well! Since my waterproof is old and has become rather holy, I'm scouting for some slashed hard-shells tomorrow. :)
