Keen for one more trad hit before the extravaganza of Annual Dinner? Psyched to get your gnarly trad career started?! Then look no further for the UBMC Learn-to-Lead Day Trip is here!On Saturday 18th February we'll be heading to the Peak District (most likely the Roaches) for a day of trad climbing, where you'll have the option of climbing like any normal trip, or learning how to outdoor lead shag and hopefully getting your first lead in!
Where/When? - We'll meet outside the Munrow Sports Centre at 7:30am on Saturday 18th February!
How Much? - £10! Free for drivers.
Sign-Ups? - Sign-Ups will be through a google form posted on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/UBMCstoats/) at 6:30pm on Saturday 11th February!
What to bring? - Any climbing stuff you own, loads of warm clothes because it can get pretty cold, food and water for the day as we won't be stopping to shop and loads of enthusiasm!
Who can learn-to-lead? - You don't need to have learnt indoor lead climbing to be taught the basics of outdoor trad by us, so don't let that hold you back if you're keen!
