I'm a complete climbing newbie and I missed you in freshers week but I'd like to get involved I saw on here that you meet on Mondays as well as Wednesdays. Has this started up yet? It wasn't on the main website. Also, I don't finish in uni on Mondays until 6.00, would it still be worthwhile for me to head over to the climbing wall after that? I'm a postgrad so I'm often not free on Wednesday afternoons, so I'd probably miss a lot of those sessions. Thanks

Hey FISH CHUGGER,

The first meet on a monday evening will be Monday 26th October, at Creation Climbing Centre. Student prices will apply so £3.50 entry with a student card and half price gear rental, if you need any. We'll give you tuition at the wall. It usually only takes a couple of weeks to get the ropes and then you should be away without the need of anyone watching over you! Most people won't be down on mondays until at least 6-7pm. Although you can go at any time in the day and still get the same discount on climbing/gear. Meet times/advice on how to get to creation will be announced closer the time.

Thanks, it turns out I should be able to come this Wednesday, the stuff I had to do has been cancelled are you still meeting at the guild for the Wednesday sessions or was that just for the beginning of term? I'll need to hire gear, but it doesn't seem too expensive on the Redpoint website. It's good that you give some tuition at the wall, I've only climbed a few times and that must have been about ten years ago so I'd probably end up killing myself otherwise!
