******************CALENDARS NOW IN*************************
**************on sale from the first wednesady of term!**************


We are in the process of putting together an amazing 2010 calendar BUT…

WE NEED YOU!

We need your most breathtaking, inspiring, epic or just down right hilarious photographs you have taken as part of the UBMC.

They must be-
*in focus
*climbing related
* not chopping off heads/ limbs etc
*must be saved somewhere to be sent in full at the end of the comp for good quality
*avoiding any “extras” (goolies/nakedness/rude bits) if you can help it boys!Just follow these simple steps-

Step one-
Join the group “University of Birmingham Mountaineering Club” on facebook.

Step two-
Upload your desired picture to the groups album

Step three
-Ensure you label the picture “Photo comp” and also ensure somewhere like the comments box you add the name of who took/owns the picture and a small caption describing what is in the picture (shag/climber/country/what is happening)

Step four-
At the END OF NOVEMBER (if there are enough) the best 12 photo’s will be judged and sent off for printing!!!!!


So get those pictures up pronto!!!!! Can wait to see what people have been getting up to and some great photos!!!

Yup, you can upload as many as you like. Just make sure they're good, nobody wants a calander full of shit photos. Also, to reiterate, if we don't have enough put together a good finished article in the next few weeks then it won't be happening. So get on it peoples!

Just realised, that I have very few photos of people, the majority are of landscapes :? oh well. :)

A quick update. The final 12 pictures have been selected. A big thanks to everyone who uploaded - there was a great response and some tremendous pics. The elite picture judging panel spent many hours deliberating.

The calendars will be going to print this week but will not be on sale until the first week back after Christmas. There are a total of 50 on order so get in quick to avoid disappointment. Sales will be on a first come first served basis. They will be priced at £5 - bargain!

Keep your eyes peeled on here for more info.
