The 15th March sees the Rat Race coming to Birmingham. This is a one day 'adventure race' event that involves running, cycling, kayaking, climbing, abseiling and navigating around the town centre. I hope it bears no similarity to fell running.

It looks to be a good laugh. James and I are doing it as a pair, and have already entered.

Anyone else interested?

We've even been for a couple of runs. It looks like an entertaining day out - lots of people should do it!

James and I did complete this, and came 16 out of 63 finishing teams.

It was a really good laugh, so highly recommended if it happens next year.

Congratulations Starley. You would have come 15th had you kept your stabilisers on.
