If they work, that is such a good idea, might help to stop the damage to rock through alloy nut placements.

they don't look too pretty but hopefully the idea may be developed by more manufacturers :D and I'm not sure they would last as long as the recommended 10 years for normal hardware :s

I know... what's that material that is pliable/moldable when little force is exerted but when hit suddenly (e.g. with a hammer - or a fall) 'turns' solid? anyone know what i'm talking about???
called something like a Supersolid maybe?

Protect yourself with custard !!! Also if you get peckish on the way up....
