Just a thread where people coming on scotland (or generous people not coming on scotland) can post their requests for gear to borrow, or offers of gear to lend out.. Hopefully this'll work.

Include how to get in touch so anyone reading this can get hold of you if they need to.

So far, I have a request for:

1 pair size 8.5/9 boots.

Can anyone help?

I may just be able to assist there. I can lend someone my Nepal Extremes, I normally wear size 8/9 shoes so they should be perfect. And they're infinitely better than any floppy B2 pair. They'll cost you two pints of beer though.

Tommy if you have a decent size rucksac that would be great cos mines only a 35, waasn't gonna buy a bigger one but could be useful to borrow to save those ropes getting wet on the walk in! Also if your goggles will fit over a pair of glasses that would be superb cos I don't like wearing contacts when it's cold.

Is there a full kit list somewhere so people can see what they need?

MILF-Hunter - I always wear my contacts in Scotland as I wouldn't want my glasses to freeze up (which they do) - so I would take contacts as well if you can, so you have the option.

Yeh I'm gonna try with contacts cos it would be better but when it's cold sometimes my eyes water and they fall out.

Also if anyone will lend me gaiters and trousers that would be helpful.
