Well, if you look at the time-dependent Hamiltonian Operator:

(change in Energy)(change in Time) >(or equal to) h / 4(pi)

In a short enough timeframe, you could theoretically have a near-infinite amount of energy. Therefore, if you leave it to the last minute, you can have an almost unlimited supply of energy at your disposal.
