What - ‘Out-door Activities First Aid Course’
When – Friday 25, Saturday 26 April (last weekend of Easter holls)
Why – To gain experience and knowledge of how to deal with basic emergencies in the outdoors
Where – Leaning Centre UG06 9:00 – 17:00 each day
Cost – £54.17, cheques make payable to Steve G Marshall

This is an ‘Out-door Activities First Aid Course’ designed especially for our sort of activities. It covers all the basic/standard first aid topics with an emphasis on those relevant to emergency first aid in the out doors and in more remote locations. There will be indoor theory and outdoor practical / scenario type work. It is a fully certified and recognised award of a high enough standard to be held with SPA, BCU, BELA and such qualifications. Cost includes training and certification valid for 3 years. More info here.

Having first aid trained people in the club is excellent to improve the safety, experience and skills within the club. It puts us more at ease while out on the crag! A well worth experience for anyone, especially those serious about climbing!

The coure is now full. Check the list below.

Michaf C, maybe you should learn to look after yourself before trying to look after anyone else?

I can look after myself! I drink plenty of fluids, have lots of exercise, my body is a temple!

You won't be taking the micky if one day you fall and I'm the only one around to help!

Do it! The more people the less it costs!
