Are you ready for yet another fantastic UBMC trip? Heard tales of past adventures* in Skipton? On the 22nd - 24th November, UBMC will heading north to wonderful county of Yorkshire for some classic gritstone climbing and shenanigans!

WHERE: Upper Nidderdale Scout Hut in Pateley Bridge. Due to the tragic closure of The Dump, UBMC’s usual haunt in Skipton, this year we will instead be heading 20 miles east to the beautiful Nidderdale Valley, which has the benefit of wonderful views and functioning showers**.

On Saturday and Sunday, we will be heading to the likes of Almscliffe, Brimham Rocks and Ilkley (Cow and Calf) to sample some of Yorkshire’s finest climbing, while on Saturday night we'll be heading out to Pateley's local to undertake some of UBMC's annual traditions.

WHEN: Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th November. Meeting outside the Munrow at 6pm on Friday as usual.

PRICE: The bargain price of £30 (£20 for drivers). If you can drive, please let me know as soon as possible.


Sign up will be this Wednesday (13th November) at Redpoint from 1pm. Please bring your money then, as your place won’t be guaranteed until you have paid! If you can’t make it and there are still places left, I can meet you on campus on Thursday or Friday.


WHAT TO BRING:
- Warm clothes and waterproofs
- Climbing shoes and any other equipment you have (harnesses / helmets can be borrowed)
- Suitable footwear
- Sleeping bag
- Roll mat (this is essential as we’ll be sleeping on the floor. I have a spare if anyone needs one)
- Food / drink (not essential as drivers will stop on the way)
