Does anyone have a Nesscliffe Guidebook I could borrow/fancy going bouldering at Nesscliffe on Saturday? Forecast is looking alright at the moment.

Let me know (07760252248)

x

Tom and I both have guidebooks (one each!) but we are in Whales this weekend and thus have no way of transfering said guidebook!

Its a shame we're not around, you could have come visited our new house (its on the way to nessy from brum!)

Aww that would've been cool, I think we have a West Midlands Rock in the gear cupboard so hopefully that'll do :)

Im not sure if WestMidlands rock has bouldering in it (can't remember). I think the club has a copy of the Shropshire bouldering which covers nessy. The grades in this book have known to be a bit wacky so take them with a pinch of salt!

Alternatively, you could stop of in Shrewsbury on the way at High sports (http://www.highsports.co.uk/) and pick up your own copy of the Nesscliffe guide! Don't think its too expensive and it even comes with a DVD and suppliment guide!

Westmidlands Rock has no bouldering in it is missing a load of climbs and some of the trad grades are strange e.g. some routes that got hvs in it now get E3...

The Nesscliffe guide is about £15 and is definately worth getting, nessy is the best close crag to brum/best crag in the world.

If you went on sunday we might be able to come, although sat does look better at the moment.

Have Fun!

Tom & Rosie: Real shame you guys can't come. I haven't been before, bit excited! Looks like we're sorted for guidebooks now though.

Laurence: May well be round later thank you, or Harry's seeing as he's a bit closer.

UBMC owns a Nesscliffe guide. I think it is on long term loan/5 finger discount to UBMC member.
