A new book has just been released by Mountain Training called 'International Mountain Trekking'

This book is the reference tool for every trekker, from novice to expert, gap year traveller to seasoned trek leader (it contains specific ideas for anyone wanting to help teach, lead or instruct others). Written by the staff and colleagues of Plas y Brenin this is the definitive and comprehensive textbook on ‘how to go trekking in mountains around the world’. ‘International Mountain Trekking’ has a functional design with easy-reference colour-coded pages; it is lavishly illustrated with inspiring colour photos from six continents and striking technical illustrations that complement the text. It is the fifth in the series of manuals from Mountain Training UK that includes the highly successful ‘Hill Walking’, ‘Rock Climbing’, ‘Winter Skills’ and ‘Navigation in the Mountains’. Contributors to this book include PyB senior instructors Carlo Forte, Martin Chester, Helen Barnard, Simon Hale, Michaf C Raine and Louise Turner as well as Michaf C Rosser from partner organisation Outlook Expeditions. The book further benefits from close collaboration with staff at Mountain Training, Glenmore Lodge and the British Association of International Mountain Leaders.

You can get your copy of the book https://cms.mountain-training.org/Shop.aspx
