On wednesday the 12th of november derby uni are hosting a competion for uni's in the midlands.

It will cost £6.50 and registration starts at 1, with the comp starting at 2. Google maps says it will take an hour and 10 mins to get there.

The more people come the better, we are allowed to take as many people as we like and then the highest 3 scores will count. This will be a really good way of getting people start climbing in competetions and seeing how it all works.

It was merely for information. I am in Coventry all day on the 12th so can't attend.

Sounds like an interesting new event though.

Well according to the poster on the website its leading, bouldering and top roping.

Just got an e mail back from the guy organising it and he wanted me to stress that it is for every one and all abilities, so every one should try and get involved!!

So guys there are 6 places in cars that can be filled.

Oh dear.. just went on the website and it says 'Valid NUS card required'.. I don't have an NUS card!! That mean I can't do it?? How stupid!!
Ohhh shitness too, I have a small group session at uni until 1pm, and we can't miss those :(
Looks like I can't go.. :( Still wanna do the university bouldering one though!
