I have the climbing guide book you put a link to, not the bouldering guide I'm afraid. Might be a bit tricky to get it to you, and as of right now I haven't finalised my own summer plans.
IMHO its an ok book, but its a bit like the circuit books for font. Lots of routes marked, but not much of a describtion.

Its not very common anyone from UBMC willingly wants to go to the Ecrin region doing alpine let alone consider climbing!

Ailefroide is an amazing place to camp if you haven't already got somewhere to stay.

If you could let me know that'd be great, saves me having to buy one. But no worries if you'll be using it.

I'm going down there with the kayaking club but a few of them are climbers too. We're camping about 10 minutes from the boulders at aliefroide, so I thought it'd be worth having a look.

What's the climbing like?

If I may but in this conversation, I thought the climbing there was awesome, but I only did one route - took about 6 hours. Don't know about the bouldering.

I think it's my favourite place to boulder.... a lovely place and some very memorable problems.

I do also have the guidebook, but I also don't know what I'm doing in the summer yet, so I might need it.

You can get the guidebook in the village, it's pretty cheap, (10 euros or so). It actually probably wouldn't be worth posting it to you as it's so cheap, and you'll want to go back so you might as well buy it when you're out there.
