Ever since the notice went up on the website, I have been waiting for the 31st June to come along because I have never been to Stange. Hope it is soon, but I can't seem to find it in my diary, or find Stange on the map.

Ooo, the location magically changed... Still going to be waiting a while for the date to come around though.

Maybe someone should update the text in the other boxes because now is the time that people arriving in October may be looking around to find out what clubs to join, let them know what is in store? I know dates won't be confirmed, but maybe a rough idea of places??

Thats such a good idea. And i am still waiting to be told what to put up there.
It'll happen. One day. Just like rebuilding the site would have happened. Just needs someone to decide whats going on it etc.

Use some initiative Phil :) Just put up something temporary until the committee can decide on something (I know how long that sort of thing takes...!).

It is probably going to be something like...
Next trip : Stanage Freshers' Trip, October
Next Event : Freshers' Taster Indoor Session, 1st Wednesday of Term
Autumn Term : Come along and find our stall at the Freshers' Fairs in the first week of uni; you can talk to one of the friendly club members, look at pictures of us in action, maybe even pick up some freebies. There'll be an opportunity to sign up for a taster session, join (or rejoin) the club, and generally find out what we get up to. Later in the term we will be running several weekend trips, including the famous Stanage Freshers' Trip, a couple of day trips and numerous socials, as well as indoor climbing in Birmingham at least once a week.
Term Calendar : Watch this space for more details on Stanage, Ogwen, Sheffield and more...

Good idea Sazzle, what you said there is perfect for phil to put up. It really is important to keep it updated.

Interesting that the freshers climbing is at the end of the year, not worked out exactly when the 41st week of term is yet!

Wow, there seems to be a strong lack of understanding what a difficult job it s to maintain the current website design. And yet a strong desire not to accept change.
