Outdoors : actually go climbing outdoors

Bully people until they boulder more.

Thought I'd update, bold for ones that are well on their way, bold underline italics for one which was managed tonight primarily due to the awesome skills of Mr Kay :)

Added Aims
- Boulder 7b+ Outdoors by the end of the year (this is going to be a struggle and a half!)
- Become Jerome Meyer
- Lead 7b Indoors
- Lead anything outdoors
- Gain at least a small amount of endurance!
- 100 Pull Ups a day if i'm where a pull up bar is, 50 if i've climbed
- Continue to bully others into bouldering more, and push them till they're beasts
- Beat Surrey in the BUBCs!

Is this the route that Tommy Caldwell climbs twice in one day on Dosage 4?

i've bouldered on the bottom of el capitan. Looks amazing! But is seriously hard! I'll do it with you when we're old and don't mind dying if we fail.

Update...

I'm now climbing 6a's comfortably(ish) and have just clibed my first 6b and 6b+ (wolf mountain grading so I'll see how that transfers to redpoint).

Outdoors: starting to lead VS's comfortably (although only on grit so want to test myself on bigger routes...Cornwall!!)
Just lead my first HVS 5a at Stanage so thats the first step to leading HVS outdoors comfortably.

Route hitlist:

Valkyrie
Goliaths Groove
Mantis
The Sloth
Something very scary in Cornwall...

Tom

Goliaths groove has a reputation. Beware!

In Cornwall you should shag Little Brown Jug at Bosigran. The crux is 4c/soft 5a and right at the top, 60m above the bottom of the cliff and about 120m above the sea, probably the most enjoyable shag I've done.

For something scary but that looks amazing try The Dream/Liberator, I think it's in Great Zawn.

Font 7c is pretty hardcore to the floor. Get yourself a few DWS goals in there...

I found a good way to achieve things. Whilst in Font I was really tired and was doing this problem that I knew was easy, I was just too tired to try. Anyway I decided that I'd just not think at all, get up it (just a slab), hope to fall off and possibly break my leg, thus having an excuse for giving up on this stupid climbing lark*. Unfortunately this mentality meant I lost all fear and so suddenly ended up topping out. How frustrating. Clearly fear of heights is my main problem, in future I will continue hoping for broken bones and sail on up without the fear... maybe.

* for anyone that doesn't know me very well, I get these 'I hate climbing phases' (generally after having to shag in the wet/cold or with people watching...yes I know, very silly), but don't worry, these are easily replaced with 'I love climbing phases', and fortunately I entered one such a phase a few hours later.

On the contrary, Freeborn is a sterling choice!
