Slight change of plans, geting time off work is no longer an option but i'l come for the weekend if we head down on friday 30th :)

hey Sensei Chris i'll only be there for the weekend too if u want to grab a lift with me...i'm going from brum but can pick u up on root if u like!

got any ideas where we're camping yet?

Yeah that would be absolutely grand! I do have work on friday tho and wont be home till half 5 at the earliest. So if you dont mind travelling a little late then that woulde be brilliant :D
If thats too late then i can drive down its not a problem :D
btw I live in wiltshire, between bath and swindon. Theres quite an easy route to get there from brum which is right in line with portland so drop me a text if thts all ok!

Otherwise Everyone:
I have a fair idea of the gear that well have, at least 4 racks and 4 ropes bwetween us so far.
If you could all post the gear that you have that would make my job easier. Especially if you have a set of doubles!

And Josh/Anybody who is driving through brum, theres some things in the cupboard we will need to bring:
-45m Ab rope
-1st aid bag
-Helmets (I have 5 already, so just bring any more that we will need)
-I did look for a dorset guidebook, but it wasnt a very thorough check to say the least. so if you got time just rummage through whats in there just in case there is one

Cheers y'all

What do people want to do saturday morning? Trad or Sport? if we have a fixed idea of the two then choosing a camping site would be easier. for instance the good trad is all around swannage, and i have it on good authority that there are places around there to wild camp, so we could get there friday eve, have a day of trad on saturday then go camp near portland for sunday. just thinking outloud at this point, but what do people think?

right would be loads easier if I picked up tak from wycombe and if katy takes jack and brewer from birmingham + gear. would that be do able? it would cut an hour and a half out of my journey.

Just enquiring how people will get back? I'll probably be going birmingham direction afterwards on like tuesday/wednesday? or earlier (but only if people aren't staying) (Might go and buy a rockfaqs who knows)

hey

Sensei Chris can u drive as i don't think i'll have space in my car
I'll take brewer, jack, jake, leaving 6pm from brum and coming back sunday lateish.
if anyone wants to stay longer then could they grab a lift part way back with Sensei Chris??

Gear:
Jake has a 60m rope and 10 quick draws and a 2man tent.

Me and jake would like to do sport however if anyone has space for a bouldering mat then jake is keen to boulder and i'll do trad.

there's a mixture of sport and trad in swanage and sport on portland so many options. I could bring katy's bouldering mat if someone wants to ask if its ok to use, as its only me and josh s in the car x

I'm keen to get out this weekend also. Would be leaving friday night and coming back sunday night. Can pick you up Sensei Chris on route too if katy can't? I could pick up the gear we needed from the gear cupboard too if that would be helpful??
