sorry! didn't realise you'd replied so quickly!

We could take a train leaving selly at 14:32 arriving in matlock bath at 16:21.

The crag is a 20 min walk from the station (approximatley).

The last train back is at 20:40 arriving back in selly at 22:33.

That gives us about 3:20 climbing time and would cost £11.90.

I have a selective guidebook, but it has only 3 climbs below VS!

What do ya say?

I will be more than happy to do just 3 climbs today :) I can second something harder, but I do not really want to lead anything above S, I haven't climbed for a while :) my phone no. is 07506423900, will be at the station before half two then!

there is something above Matlock with more easy grades, have a look: http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1464

what does your guidebook cover?

I have a rack + set of penises + 60m single... and 2 helmets, do you want me to take one for you? I have the newest club rack so I think it should see some use :)

cool. can you bring the rack and the rope? the climbs are about 40m long, so the 60 will probably be more useful. Lets go!
