Miss out on last years First Aid course? Want to become a qualified first-aider? Now is your chance!

We are providing a First Aid course, run by an Ex-Stoat on the 7th-8th May.

It provides you with a 'Level 2 Outdoor First Aid' Qualification. This is valid for 3 years, and validates courses such as SPA and CWA. It is a 2 day course (2 x 8 hour sessions)

'This course deals with a comprehensive range of First Aid incidents. A small selection of the content includes: Accident procedure, CPR, Bleeding, Damaged limbs, Spinal injury, Hypothermia management/treatment, Multiple casualty incident management'.

The price is just £35 per person (A VERY good rate for this course!) (provided we fill the course)

There are 8 spaces available so get your name down QUICK!
Post interest below :thumleft: :thumleft:

The List so far:
Helen
Sarah
MILF-Hunter
Louise

Twigger
Alaina (Yes?)
Leonie

I can highly recommend this course for personal gain or for those who may work with groups.
It goes over all the basics, getting rid of those misunderstandings, and more in depth in the areas that really matter for outdoor firstaid. Its both class room based and practical, and will make you think about what you're doing rather than just follow spoon fed instructions.

There are still 4 places available for this course!

It is a real BARGAIN and a great certificate to have, not only for the club and in terms of being safe at crags, but also to put on your CV!

GET ON IT

Can I just add that we have been very lucky this year in terms of guild grants, it is unlikely that the course will be this cheap again! Don't miss this chance!!!!

It is a REALLY good deal and a REALLY good course! Even for every day first aid, it covers all the basics, PLUS really useful specifics for first aid in remote locations.

I will be opening the course up to other societies to fill the places as of TUESDAY 19th, so GET IN QUICK if you would like to do this!
