That is a very good point. I dont think it makes any difference what size tent you have on the pitch as long as u pay for the people in it. coz on one site we had an eight man but only paid for the seven of us in it so if we had two four mans, which we already have, then we would just have more space, which can only be a good thing. who was planning on driving anyways? coz i would quite like to and you will be so if there is only six of us then surely that would be enough? coz then we could squeeze in to go to the crag when you arent there.
is louise gonna book the other one? can someone text and ask as i havent got her number. if she doesnt wanna do it then i can but i have spent quite a bit of money on stuff today so would rather not spend more money right this second.

Heey Katy ! U alright ? did u have a nice time in the lake district ? get any climbing done ??

I have just booked both pitches (2 four man tents and two cars). Arrive on the 1st and leaving on the 10th. Paid £100 pound deposit, the rest we pay when we arrive; which is (if there are 6 of us as it stands now) £7.67 a night per person and a £15 good behaviour deposit which we get back as long as we are good .

As for drivers I have to drive down as I need my car during the trip to go to a wedding...doh! Whilst I am away 5 people should be able to fit into one car to drive to and from crags/ anywhere else. Anyone got a decent sized car ? Or is there anyone else who has to drive ??

i've got a rope. and will hopefully be getting tess' rack at some point.

Soo at the moment we have:

- a rope from Chavacs, a rope from louise and I also have a rope so thats three
- one 120 cm sling from rach and if louise gets a rack off Tess that should have another 5 slings on of varying sizes which should be enough between us.
- 5 quickdraws from rachel , and again if louise gets a rack off Tess that should be another ten quickdraws making a total of 15!

Soo we are good for ropes, good for slings if Louise gets the rack off Tess but short on quickdraws.. Be good to have like ten each i reckon (soo 30 in total) so need to find some more of these !!

Also I got a little confirmation slip off the campsite the other day

Shouldn't need any more than 8 quickdraws each.

Might be worth seein if any of the commitee are in brum to see what we have in the cupboard, if per chance we have another rack. Didnt dexter say he had a full rack? might be worth givin him a text but that would give another 10. ad it might be worth findin out if u can get tess' for definate. i might b tempted to get some more q'ds if we do need them, as they will always come in handy im sure, but would rather not have to. if we have two racks and mine that would be PLENTY.much love x

Right guys, cause I'm a good guy, I checked the gear cupboard for you on the way home from work. There are no more quickdraws or available in the gear cupboard. Also, all of the ropes are out. I've picked up a first aid kit for you. And I have the guide book. Both of which I'll give to steve sometime this week. Also Steve has a bouldering mat which you guys should definitely take down as there's loads of bouldering to be done down there! If you want another one, just ask. I really recommend Blacknor Fort, as theres nothing harder than v3 (font 6a), it's all really good fun.
