Get my weight to as close to 10.7 as possible+ get smaller - was 10.7.2 last week, now a little heavier, just need to get outdoors more
Improve my solo/high boulder grade, which will mean E1:s Highballed my E3 - check, finger distance at curbar, well up for more of this, one of the best things I've ever done
Get out to genuine awesome (overhanging) bouldering locations more, hit up Whales and especially parisellas lots

Spend as much time possible climbing in europe as possible!

Finally if I can get my general knowledge of everything and everywhere climbey anywhere near as comprehensive as Stokesy I'll be well chuffed. - I now have 1 location in the country which I know more about than Ben, more shall be added possibly :)
I am not knowledged in colours...

-New aims - Properly solo an E2/3, boulder/highball an E4 or higher.

Here's a sneeky pic of my willy Jay to get you in the mood. Rumour has it I can one-armer off it.

Updated aims

5 1 armers on each arm
shag 7c(+maybe)
Be a good boy and do my physio exercises in order to make it so I can actually run by the end of the year :S

50 pull ups and press ups every day before breakfast if I'm home, regardless of whether I'm going climbing, Ill, have lost the use of hand etc.

Make the most of this beauty as much as possible!

Speaking of which.....

http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php ... 941.0.html

I honestly thought this guy was you when I first read it; can do 3 one armers, wants to do 5 by the end of the year, climbs V8 outside etc., so this will probably be pretty relevant (though you'll have to filter out all the people telling him not to bother, you thug you)

Haha, what did that guy expect posting on UKB, with a topic as provocative as that all you're going to get are responses of the 2 classic english climbing forum responses: a) Yeah, but what can he do on the grit? b) anally retentive training knowledge gurus :)

Did 2 7cs today, yes yes, effing yes! :D 7c+ is going to be fierce, heading to magic wood in sept hopefully, maybe I'll get one there.

handstand pressups are more about balance than about strength in my opinon (although the most ive ever done is 5) so youll have to spend loads of time just playing about in handstands. they do look cool though.

'not just belaying!' ouch james, that hurt!

Aims.. hmm.. get better!!?
Comfortably boulder at least V3/V4
Do some outdoor bouldering!! (without injury!)
Maybe work on confidence leading - so get some VS's done
Flash an E grade (seconding :P)
Do 15 pull ups straight
Do a 1 armed pull up
Reach top of campus board missing out every other rung - with both hands jumping it!
Don't twist any joint
Have some form of climbing knowledge
Have some form of general knowledge

Yeahh, pretty successful summer really :)
Indoors bouldering around v4..
outdoors bouldering hasn't really happened! (apart from causing another sprain, yay..)
Got comfy in the VS trad.. so now flashed a number of HVS's and flashed my first two E1's (however easy they may have been!)
Lead a few loutdoor 6b's cleanly too.. which I really wanted to be able to do..
Not really done the pull ups..still stop at 11.. so I should get on that!

CLIMBING AIMS for winter 2010:
Comfortably/consistently lead 6b/+ indoors
Boulder V5 consistently indoors
GET on the new bouldering team!!!
Do some hvs's at stanage
Get out for some cooold grit bouldering and not be a fanny about the temperature
at LEAST 12 pull ups straight.. come on !
Try to remember to uuuse the beastmaker.. at least every other day
