Tremadoc Climbing Trip: 13-15th of February 2009

What: The first weekend trad trip of the new year, amazing rock climbing in an amazing place. There is also sport climbing near by!

When: 13th-15th of February. We'll be meeting at 6pm at the Munrow Sports Centre, and we will be returning on the Sunday evening.

Where: Staying in a climbing hut 50 yards from a crag with over 100 climbs! There are bunks, cookers and a fire, so all you need is your sleeping bag.

Cost: £22! (£12 for drivers). Please pay as soon as possible. I'd like all money by the 11th of February. You can call me on 07711842029, money can be dropped off at 212 Heeley road or given to me at the wall.

On the trip and car list
Mark (driving Air Force 1)(p)
Petr (p)
Louise (p)
Phil (p)

Gareth (driving the Inverse Tardis of Trad)
Steffen (p)
Stevey B (owes £2)
Hillary (p)

Alice M (driving the Magical Mystery Motor) (p)
James Brewer (owes £7)
Alex (p)
Alaina

Remember to bring
* Climbing gear. (Harness, belay plate, helmet. If you do not have these, let me know)
* Waterproofs and warm clothes
* Rucksack
* Sleeping bag
* Head torch (if you have one)
* Food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner (we will stop on the way for food)
* Warm clothes
* Walking boots (last resort)
* Gloves and Hat
* Warm Clothes

Plan: One full day of trad when it will be amazing weather. One day of bouldering and trad, it will be a squeeze to get the mats in so please try and pack light people!

Loads of routes that are in the guidebook as very vegetated have now been cleaned up and are apparently quite good, I reccomend Borneo particularly as its the only recently cleaned one I have done and is indeed very good.

Check details for cleaned routes here http://tremadog.wetpaint.com/, they need traffic to stay clean so you'd be doing a service.

I know there was just a small mention of sport.. but I do not really mind if there was not any sport, I need to improve in both :)
