Having said I'll go for the passed 2 years, I'm now based in Bristol and get Friday afternoon's off therefore making a weekend in the Lakes a highly attractive option.

Are any other Old Gits going? I'd be looking to stay in Lowe House. I feel I've out grown the playschool.

I think its in Ambleside, I'm defo going up. Will probably have to stay with the proles tho, as otherwise I'd have to deal with Jules' wrath.

(This however, is not a definite decision)

Tom - did you get Roger's email? As it's the 75th anniversary of the stoats, they are trying to get as many past president's there as possible.

If the meal is in Ambleside, I may reconsider where I'm staying. Don't want to be too far from the action!

Yep I got the email, its a great idea. One of the past Presidents happens to be Charlies uncle which is pretty strange!

Does anyone have a reliable way of getting in touch with Ed Dutton, a Past President who could well be part of an M5 massive?

I'm interested, but am hesitant to commit in the middle of prime winter climbing season. I suspect this will be the case for several others as well.
It's easiest to get hold of Ted by phone, although he does check his email as well.

Excellent Ant, hang fire a couple of days and I'll update here (and send an email to the old gits whose email I've got) with details of exactly where/when/how to pay :D

I can't go I'm afraid. Away with the TA, training for a trip to somewhere a bit warmer and sandier than here at the end of the year!

Have a good weekend.

I'll be driving up from Guildford on Friday evening with Kat. If we pass by anybody we could give you a lift. Going M40, M6

Interesting, I'm in London now so might be interested for that, but not sure yet. I'll keep you posted.

I could do with a lift from Birmingham or can give 2-3 people a lift. Will go with 'young-gits' if not.

We'll be passing brum about 2 to 2.5 hours after leaving Guildford. So you can always get a lift with us, unless Kat has filled my car with clothes and shoes!
