With regards to boots I would recommend you go into a decent shop and get some fitted, as certain makes suit those with wider or narrow feet etc. Then once you have an idea of which boots you suit you can run away to ebay if you like.

Just a heads up, anyone still looking for cheap merino thermals, socks, goggles etc. Aldi have a load of cheap winter clothing in from tomorrow. Probably can't go thatttt far wrong with thermals.

Shoes: Scarper Boostersss! yeh boi!
We're having a crampon/boot fitting session at the gear cupboard in the Munrow Sports hall for those who need to borrow from crampons at 2pm on the 28th December. If you can't make it...make sure you talk to me about fitting crampons sometime before then!

I have also booked the traditional curry the night before we leave - on the 28th December at 7pm at the Sundarbon!!!

Can't wait!

Had a look last night and not that much merino left, mostly womens left. Did get some cheap goggles and spare gloves though.

TK Maxx has some good stuff in at the moment (if you dig through the ski wear and active outdoor sections)!

Seen some Haglofs jackets and Mammut fleeces at seriously discounted prices!

Happy digging!
