Shoes: just for decoration
So, to begin with

I don't understand the appeal of defecating in public places. Don't get me wrong, a well placed crag poo can be extremely liberating, but purposefully evacuating ones bowels on a high street or dance floor seems a bit strange to me...

why is this relevant?

The last Scotland trip I attended was great. With not too many bad Scottish impersonators and only murmurs of boston pancakes and goodness-knows-what steamers peppering a tranquil Scotland experience. But I have fears of this year's trip, what with an ever increasing ratio in the club of public pooing promoters to, well, normal people.
Now before couple of the aforementioned folk go to grab a kilt to facilitate their lifetime ambitions of prolifically & horrifically marking their territory, which old gits intend to attend (and make a stand against this)?

I wasn't sure if this rant belonged in the grumpy old man thread or, as a Scotland related topic, is valid in its own right, either way I feel it might even be a nice little addition to the proposed journal this year?

I also support a complete absence of public defecation on the Scotland trip. As far as I'm aware no one who's signed up has expressed any desire to do so. I hope none of you will be put off by it, it won't be happening.

So far there has been interest (but mostly no money  ) from Tom, Rosie, Jake, Josh, Jack, JCB and Yarrow. It'd be great to have you along :)

We can do deposits if you need. Bank transfer ok? Will need account details.

Also, as you know, Tom and I will be travelling separately in the Van due to the Skimo race on the 28th. I'd imagine we'll be arriving at the hut about the same time as everyon else.

So I don't know how you want to do the petrol part of the cost of the trip. I guess it makes sense for us to just pay for accomodation and sort our own petrol out?

Isn't there a thing you're supposed to do with dogs and cats when they do a bad... like rub their noses in it to stop them from doing it again....

Bank transfer would be great, thanks! I'll send you a text, not too keen on putting them on the internet. I think it would be easiest if you sort your own petrol, yeah.

MILF-Hunter wont be there, so no one will defecate in public.

By talking about it this much you're giving everyone ideas - even I'm starting to get intrigued by this public defecation idea!

I'm getting pretty sick of this aswell.

I will be "potty training" anyone who:
a) does this.
b) thinks this is a good idea.

I will be a creative teacher.

Call me ignorant, many do, but when did this pooing thing start?

When I was in the club the worst that happened was someone occasionally being sick in a urinal or sink or maybe drinking beer really quickly in a Yorkshire pub (until you're sick...) basically things involving the upper rather than lower orifice...

I also swear to uphold the morals of the club on this trip, if not my own

That was before my time! And I'm sure he was just confused about the location of the toilet, or some other perfectly valid excuse...maybe...
